The day begins early with a magical sunrise over the majestic Angkor Wat, where they will watch as the first light illuminates the ancient temple’s intricate spires. Following this breathtaking experience, a knowledgeable guide will lead them through the Angkor Archaeological Park, visiting iconic temples such as Bayon Temple, known for its mysterious smiling faces, and Ta Prohm, where roots entwine with stone in a living monument. After a morning rich with history and culture, the couple will enjoy a delicious Cambodian lunch at a local restaurant featuring fresh, regional ingredients. The afternoon includes a peaceful visit to Sras Srong, a serene temple reservoir, before returning to Siem Reap for a relaxing dinner blending Khmer and international flavors.

After breakfast, the couple will take a scenic drive to Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, for a guided boat tour of the unique floating village. They’ll see how local communities live in stilted and floating homes, with floating schools, shops, and fishing boats shaping daily life.

In the afternoon, they will return to Siem Reap and have time to explore the vibrant Old Market (Phsar Chas). This is a perfect opportunity to shop for souvenirs, local crafts, spices, and handmade goods, or simply enjoy a coffee at a local café.

After breakfast at the hotel, they will visit the APOPO Visitor Center in the morning, where they will learn about the incredible work of trained HeroRATs in detecting landmines and tuberculosis. This inspiring experience offers insight into Cambodia’s efforts toward recovery and safety. After the tour, they can return to Siem Reap for some free time to relax or explore on their own.

In the evening, the couple will enjoy a delightful dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance show at a renowned local venue, where they can savor authentic Khmer cuisine while watching the elegant, storytelling dance performance that celebrates Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage.

After a hearty breakfast and check-out, they will travel by private transfer to Sihanoukville, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way. From the pier, a speedboat ride whisks them to the idyllic island of Koh Rong. Upon arrival, they will be welcomed at Resort, where turquoise waters and powdery white sands set the scene for total relaxation. The afternoon and evening are theirs to unwind on the beach or enjoy fresh seafood at the resort’s restaurant, listening to the gentle ocean breeze.

They might choose to snorkel vibrant coral reefs, kayak along the coast, or trek through jungle trails to hidden waterfalls and viewpoints. Breakfast and check-out from the resort. Take the speedboat back to Sihanoukville pier, followed by private transfer to Phnom Penh by road (approx. 4-5 hours). Check-in at a comfortable hotel in Phnom Penh. Evening at leisure or explore the city’s riverside. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Important Note: The guests will be departing Cambodia from Phnom Penh. Since they will spend time on Koh Rong island, where weather conditions can sometimes cause delays with the speedboat transfer, we have included one night in Phnom Penh before departure. This extra day ensures a smooth and worry-free journey, even if the boat from the island is delayed, allowing plenty of time to reach Phnom Penh safely for their international flight.

After breakfast, transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport for their flight home or onward travel. The trip concludes with memories of Cambodia’s rich culture, stunning temples, and relaxing island beaches.
